Closure Notice For Our Customers

It is with deep sadness that we share that Salinas Bistro in Middleton, Cork will be closing its doors with immediate effect.

As many of our loyal customers and friends know, Abdulla, the heart and driving force behind our family-run restaurant, suffered a brain aneurysm in early March. He has been in hospital since then and is now continuing his long road to recovery at the National Rehabilitation Centre in Dublin.

In his absence, his wife Dee has worked tirelessly to keep Salinas Bistro going, supported by an incredible team who stepped up without hesitation.

However, after much thought, Dee has made the difficult decision to close the restaurant so she can focus fully on Abdulla’s recovery and on and on caring for their family during this challenging time.

Dee wishes to express her deep gratitude to all the staff who have shown unwavering dedication and compassion over the past months. She also wants to thank every customer who supported Salinas Bistro over the years – your kindness and loyalty have meant more than words can say.

This is not goodbye forever.

Dee hopes that when the time is right, the family will be able to return in some form in the future.

Welcome to Salina’s Bistro

Established in 2019. With a mixed offering of Middle-Eastern and Irish Cuisine, as time goes by we are introducing more and more beautifully flavored Middle-Eastern dishes as we find those dishes to be very popular with our customers as they get to know our food.

A common misunderstanding that Middle-Eastern food is spicy by nature, but the herbs and spices used in our dishes are there to complement the dish in a well balanced subtle way creating a balanced, flavored dish and is proving to be very popular as we introduce our cuisine to the Irish palate and beyond.
